Last week our whole school marked ‘Anti-Bullying’ week by sharing and discussing the same common theme throughout all classes, RESPECT. Children carried out various activities and took part in lessons to explore the theme of RESPECT. On Thursday 15th November all children wore ‘odd socks’ to school, highlighting that we are all different and are all individuals. P5-P7 children held an assembly on Thursday for all pupils from P1-7 to tell us all that we stand up and say NO to bullying here in St. Matthew’s P.S and will ‘stamp it out’. Awareness has most definitely been raised and a greater understanding gained.
