St. Matthew's PS Eco Committee voted unanimously to ban single use plastics in our school. This was done with the support of Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council who purchased new water bottles for every child in the school. Thank you to Mr John McCarron for the presentation of the bottles today. We are a PLASTIC SMART School and ask that you support us in reducing the number of plastic containers, packaging used in our lunch boxes. We also ban plastic straws and balloons and try to choose environmentally friendly alternatives. Thank you for your support.
