We have been exploring the topic ‘It’s a Disaster’ in our World Around Us Topic, focusing specifically on the Titanic. We have now got to the point where we have been looking at the reasons for it sinking. The children were given the task of making a boat from materials they had at home- to test for properties like buoyancy and the load they could carry. I was amazed at the final pieces completed by the children, they were all unbelievable 👏 Alot of hard work went into these boats. The boats all successfully floated which made it even better. What a fun afternoon we all had 😊🚢👏 These boats are all on display at school if anyone wants to have a closer look at them.
