All of our P1 pupils have a P7 buddy who plays such an important role in helping our new pupils settle into life here in St.Matthew’s!
They support and care for their younger buddies and together they build a strong bond and friendship. Our buddy system really helps our new P1s start school with more confidence knowing that their big buddies are always there to look after them.
Our older buddies are excellent role models and take on their roles with great enthusiasm and maturity!
