Hi there! 

We're the School Council and we welcome you to our section of our school website. We are the voice of all the pupils at St. Matthew's Primary School and our aim is to represent the views of all pupils here in our school.  Our job is to make our school a better place by working together and sharing everyone's opinions and ideas. 

Every class from P6-7 elected representatives to be members of the school council. Members of our school council include a Chair, Treasurer and Secretary.

The council will meet a couple of times a year and this year we hope to be involved in the following things:

• Some of the school council will attend the Eco council with Mrs. Kealey to help and make sure everyone is still in place to make our school 'Eco-Friendly'
• We hope to raise money to buy new 'outdoor' games equipment

We are going to be very busy over the next couple of months trying to help our school and we will keep you up to date here on our page.

We look forward to helping our school become a better place for everyone to enjoy.
